Looking at the exhibition and the way it shapes the viewers understandings of what it depicts.

The sea is very conceptual, we understand it by its edges, trying to find a good way to think about something so huge and normal. kind of like trying to pay attention to the fact we are all surrounded by air.
Idea that such a conceptual subject would make the modes of exhibition more obvious.
